Consultant Evaluation
Oversee/Direct Consultant |
Assist in evaluation of proposals;
Provide a recommendation based on proposals;
Provide reviews on Technical Documents (if requested);
Review payment requests; etc. |
| Technical Report Reviews |
Based on the Terms of Reference, and the intent of a study or technical document, review for accuracy, quality and cost effectiveness. Provide written comments. (Eg. Population, estimate review, alternatives, O & M reviews, Life Cycle Costing). |
Funding & Proposal Writing
(Business Plans) |
For Capital Projects, provide financing information to be utilized in grant or financial institution submission. |
| Specification Development |
Prepare (or review) specifications for projects. (e.g. Building Construction, Housing, small subdivisions). |
| Design/Drafting |
House design, building design (commercial, industrial, residential, etc.) Small water systems, extensions, etc). |
| Conceptual Designs |
Meet with client to outline requirements for a project. Cost, size, program requirements. Provide conceptual design with Class D estimate in Draft form, Meet with Client, adjust accordingly, provide final report. |
| Recreation Planning |
Site Layout, Class D estimates, Outdoor rinks, baseball diamonds, playground areas, etc. |
| Building Code Reviews |
Review Building occupancies as it relates to Part 3, Part 7, Part 9, Part 10, and Part 11 of the OBC/NBC. |
